Qualification & Skills:
• Should have a minimum bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
• Five or more years of relevant experience in Vessel Operations.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
• Skills in negotiations, problem-solving and analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day operations of vessels acquired by the company for single voyages to the recycling yard.
• To formulate economical voyage estimations and costings for the voyage.
• Understanding of the purchase MOA and compliance of operational related aspects of the MOA.
• Negotiating vessel registration with the flag and class.
• Organizing vessel inspections.
• Assisting the sales and purchase team.
• Assist the finance team with mortgage registrations (as needed).
• Agency appointment and negotiations.
• Liaison with MWS to ensure project execution runs well.
• Tug selection, as well as negotiations for under tow projects.
• Coordinating and negotiating with insurance brokers and underwriters for vessel H&M & P&I.
• Tank cleaning / de mucking vendor negotiations and follow-ups.
• Create the links and upload necessary photographs and papers for selling.
• Creating a sale form and a questionnaire for end buyers.
• Prepare for daily meetings and provide project progress updates to the team and management.
• Creating a costing variance report and present it to management at the end of the voyage.
